Beginner Ballroom & Latin

These classes are designed to introduce newcomers to the fundamentals of these dance styles in a supportive and welcoming environment.  In these classes, you will learn basic steps, techniques, and dance patterns for popular Latin and ballroom dances such as Salsa, Cha Cha, Rumba, Waltz, Foxtrot, and Tango.  Participants have the opportunity to practice the steps individually or with a partner, building confidence and coordination.  In class emphasis is placed on technique, musicality, and expression, as well as the social aspect of partner dancing.  Students learn how to lead and follow, communicate non-verbally with a partner, and navigate the dance floor with grace and confidence.

Beginner Ballroom and Latin classes are suitable for individuals with no prior dance experience or those looking to brush up on their skills.  They offer a fun and enjoyable way to learn new skills, stay active, and connect with others who share a passion for dance. No partner required.
